{"id":10837,"date":"2025-10-03T11:46:18","date_gmt":"2025-10-03T10:46:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ea3affd7216562748ff1dc1f0fe50ac6\/?p=10837"},"modified":"2025-10-03T11:47:19","modified_gmt":"2025-10-03T10:47:19","slug":"10837","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jlpjobs.com\/blog\/10837\/","title":{"rendered":"John Lewis Partnership Appoints New Chief People Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<section class=\"b__text__block l__space white\" id=\"block-1-text-block\">\n\t\t<div class=\"l__container\">\n\t\t<p>We&#8217;re pleased to announce the appointment of Helen Webb OBE as our Chief People Officer.<\/p>\n<p>Helen brings significant experience in people leadership and organisational development, having spent 30 years in senior people roles across retail and other sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Helen was most recently Chief People Officer at WHSmith, supporting the business through large scale employee changes, and prior to that was Chief People &amp; Services Officer for the Co-op. Earlier in her career, Helen worked for Sainsbury\u2019s, latterly as Central Retail Director; Marks &amp; Spencer and Aviva.<\/p>\n<p>Jason Tarry, Chairman of the Partnership, said: \u201cI\u2019m delighted to appoint Helen to the Executive Team as our new Chief People Officer. She will be instrumental in shaping the Partnership&#8217;s people strategy, fostering our strong Partner ethos and driving talent development. Helen will play a crucial role in nurturing our unique Partner culture and ensuring the Partnership remains a fantastic place to work.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is also a moment for me to express my huge gratitude to Jo Rackham, who has led brilliantly as interim Chief People Officer for the past 18 months. During this period, Jo has forged ahead with the People agenda and progressed important changes that are foundational to our work in the years ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Helen Webb said: \u201cIt\u2019s an incredible privilege to join the John Lewis Partnership, a business renowned for its unique ownership model and commitment to its Partners.
